Invalid character constant errors in Eclipse

Just found this project today...Imported it into Eclipse (latest Neon version with JDK 8)
Getting the attached errors.  Do I have a configuration problem?

What's your text file encoding? (in the Eclipse editor, type ALT+Enter)
Mine says Default (inherited from container: Cp1252)

Ok, in that case you have to set your Eclipse project text file encoding to UTF-8 and re-import the sources.
