I was wondering if KW Urban Harvester is active in the Fall at all?

Hi Anum,

KW Urban Harvester will keep going in the fall. The harvest will continue into the fall and then we can prepare the garden bed for the weekend.

Is there any progress on mapping the fruit trees growing within the city? I know there are 2 mulberry trees on Church street, one on Queen St where it meets Joseph St and a crab apple tree on Peter St.

I would encourage Urban Harvesters to continue to meet regularly even
in off season. There is a lot of potential for this group, but I
think there is a need for more volunteers, and more time to organize
(ie. strategies to attract volunteers, creating rainwater systems and
compost systems at the plot, other projects (ie. forage mapping, etc)
maybe finding another location that is accessible to a wider
community, and available for use long term.
I haven't been able to make it out to the plot in a long time. How is
it going?

Hi Lauren,

Good ideas, all.

Garden going well - we are now going out on Sundays and Wednesdays. On Wed's we come out anywhere from 6-9. The more the merrier!

Looking for Recommendations

Hi folk, Can anyone recommend a cleaner I'm thinking (dreaming!) of someone for our bedroom twice a month...  actually we recently move here I we found a lot of dust in our house our vents are very dirty so we are scheduled a appointment for cleaning our ducting system Michael offering us a group discount rate. He recently did an excellent job at a nearby property, Normally this service costs $399 each, but with 3-4 houses it's $149 for Dryer cleaning and $149 for 1 AC unit Duct cleaning and $169 for Chimney the company name is All American Home Service If you’re interested, please send me your availability, home address, and phone number via email, and I’ll add you to the list.
