I’m trying to measure real-time performance in kaldi , and got stuck with measuring latency.
I’m running server side with
“online2-tcp-nnet3-decode-faster” , and stream wav by
“sox <wav> -t wav -r 8000 -b 16 - | /usr/bin/nc <hostname>
<port> “ on the client side.
I don’t find any internal calculation of latency , and I don’t have timestamp in either side of the transcription.
I tried to increase the verbose level in kaldi “online2-tcp-nnet3-decode-faster” , and got logs messages about the initial and final transcription of each “segments”
there is --produce-time=true option which is nice , it adds timestamp in the audio itself , but does not help me figure up how much time it was processed.
maybe adding somehow timestamp of the logs in kaldi , i'm not sure how
thanks everyone ,
Itai
Beside adding the calculation in the “online2-tcp-nnet3-decode-faster.cc” , do you know on fast way to measure latency in kaldi ?
