K9 Sync doesn't work properly on Android 7.0

Hi

Last Friday, I bought me a new Samsung (A3 2017) with Android 7.0. Since then, the E-Mail synchronisation doesn't work properly. I use the same settings as before.

Is there anyone, how can help me? Is it a known problem?

Hi, it's kind of a "known problem": you have to disable Battery Optimization for K9!

Hi,

I've got same problems with my newly bought Huawei Mate 10lite with Android 7.1. With my old Honor 5x (Android 6) K9 works proper. Now the synchronisation just works for a few minutes after restarting k9 again. Then the automatic syncronisation (incl. push email) seems disabled. Battery saving mode for K9 disabled.

Does enyone have a solution? ...or is this a bug in the App?

Hi

Must be a bug in the K9 App. Because your device and Android switch the App off (Battery safe).

I have a new App. AquaMail. It work's perfect and is nearly the same style as K9.
