mastercard ipm file

hello everyone, I am new in the area of bancing devlopement , I wish to join your group to enjoy your experiance. thank you for accepting

it is the mastercard ipm file, I read the explanatory document provided by mastercard but it didnt relationship with the sent ipm file.

for example, the document says that the header is 1644 but start with something like this:

0  |    1208021716172212080217161722 >               ô                                               X 3                

@  J1644€

can you explain to me why, or recommend a tool that decrypts the file ipm . thank you very much

Get the IPM file specifications and read them.

Then get a view that can show you the binary values of the bytes in the
file.

No not directly, but I have had the pleasure of looking at the content of test IPM files from the MasterCard simulator a few years ago.

Only Mastercard can offer you the simulator, and it is costy. Also note you need to start a process to be licensed as a processing company, in order to get that.

But you don't need the simulator to get this job done. Just few ipm messages are enough - simulator will help you to get your platform certified by Mastercard.

Read the manual and use jpos to load the messages. You will note the most complex thing is not the ipm itself, but the communication between your software and the mip.
