Hi Team  - I have installed the Jmeter HTTP2 Plugin for Jmeter and the required dependencies and everything seems to be working fine for HTTPS requests.  I can't seem to however make any HTTP calls. If I set the HTTP2 Requests Defaults to use HTTP it keeps defaulting back to HTTPS. Any thoughts?

Hi!

Good question! In spite of encryption is optional in HTTP/2, most client implementation only works over HTTPS (TLS specifically) which makes encryption a mandatory thing. For that reason, some servers only support HTTP/2 when it´s used over an encrypted connection. You should check if the server you want to load test support HTTP/2 over HTTP.

Hope now it´s clear.

Regards,
Pablo.

HI,

Are you able to simulate the HTTP POST requests successfully using jmeter? If yes, can you please guide me?

I want to load test a server that supports HTTP2 over HTTP protocol. May I know how can I use the HTTP2 Jmeter sampler for this?

By default it use the "HTTPS" sampler even though "HTTP" is set as the protocol.
