[GSoC] Jenkins Configuration as Code

Hi,
Please can you name some newbie solvable issues in open source.
I am proficient with programming in Java and Docker.Also what are the setup requirements.
  1. What should we get started with?So we get on to bigger issues soon

Hello,

Thanks for the interest!
Please see information for students for application guidelines.

My recommendation would be to...
  1. Study the plugin, try to setup your Jenkins instance with it. It may give you some ideas of what needs to be enhanced there (note that the plugin is in the Alpha state now)
  2. Take a look at the plugin issues or try to fix/improve anything you discovered during the first step
  3. Work with Ewelina/Thorsten to define your project proposal scope. Join one of office hours to discuss the project with them (meetings will be announced soon)

Just FYI, Mar 27 16:00 PM UTC is a deadline for proposals.
If you are still interested in the project, please make sure to submit your final proposal by this time.
