Hello there! I'm the author and current maintainer of the HTML Publisher Plugin: https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/HTML+Publisher+Plugin.

I "wrote" it many years ago by cobbling (copy/pasting) together parts of the Javadoc plugin to make it more generic to arbitrary HTML. I'm glad it gained such popularity, but I'm not a Java developer and have consistently struggled to review PRs and understand the consequences of them, not being remotely competent in Java or staying up to data with the Jenkins models/API.

Would anyone like to adopt it who might be in a better place to maintain it?

Thanks for your consideration :)

Hi Mike

I've been looking to potentially adopt a smaller Jenkins plugin to help contribute back to the open source community and keep up to date with Jenkins at the same time. Given that I'm slightly familiar with the HTML publisher plugin (having contributed changes many a year ago) I'd like to put my name in the hat.

Richard.

Alright, Richard volunteered and seems to win without contest :) I'll have him co-review the next PR or two as well as any incoming bugs and then remove myself whenever he feels fully qualified (or at least more qualified than I!)
