jBPM 7.8.0.Final has been released

Hello,

it took us bit more than expected but finally jBPM 7.8.0.Final is out. You can take advantage of all the new things comming in, plus quite a few bug fixes.

Here is a bullet list of things worth noting (complete list with descriptions can be found in the official documentation).

• Stabilisation of workbench
• CMMN 1.1 native execution
• Single zip distribution of jBPM
• Pluggable Startup strategy in KIE Server
• Custom queries as data set editor in workbench
• Support for FEEL language as expressions for sequence flows
• Milestone condition support for multiple instances
• Case instance migration
• Even more improvements around service repository and work items

Here are release notes including bug fixes.

At the same time jBPM website has been updated to better reflect the current state of the project and to improve getting started experience. Especially important is the new Getting Started page that gives a quick introduction what to do to get up and running in just 2 minutes.

With that said, I’d like to encourage you to give this version a go and share your feedback - it's more than welcome.

  when I try to display Process Instances list from JBPM7.8.Final then Chinese display ‘???’

  in  mysql, Chinese also display ‘???’.

Can you help me ?

Hello All ,

Case instance migration not working. I am using 7.37 version

I have couple of process of which some are compelted and some are still active 

in a case.

I want to migrate the case to latest version for that i m using below api:

/server/admin/containers/{containerId}/cases/instances/{caseId}

Migrates a specified case instance to another KIE container and case definition.

With body :

{

  "NodeMapping" : { },

  "ProcessMapping" : {

"Ademo.default":" Ademo  .default",

" Ademo  .demo":" Ademo  .demo",

" Ademo  .test":" Ademo  .test"

  }

}

Here  " Ademo  .demo":"Accio.demo", is already completed. Remainings are still active.

When i run this it shows result as Migration False.

If i remove the Completed process from process-mapping body it gives error as 

"Unexpected error during processing: Not possible to migrate case instance CASE-000000001 due to missing process mapping 

Please help me how to migrate case to latest version.

in business central we can start case management console and we can start case but

how to manage case or start case in spring boot start process method can be start case also

I'm using Business central 7.48 to create business process and created client in java to access/manage processes via kie server rest api end point.

I have added SLA due date to 2m for user task  in business central and from my java client I have completed the user task before two min.

I can see the SLA Compliance status is Met  in buisness central but when I'm fetching the user task summary list from java client ,I'm getting the SLA compliance status as Pending(1).

I'm unable to understand why its happening , in business central's  user task details its showing SLA compliance as Met but result from  rest api(TaskSummary list) its showing SLA compliance as Pending

Is any thing missing.

HI.. Guys,

I am facing the issues for migrating from 6.4 to 7.8 rhpam.

I upgraded all jar version from 6.5 to 7.39 jbpm in my eclipse..

uploading kjar in business central and trying to create the container, but getting errors of bpmn (business process definitions)

in 6.4, i do have .bpmn2 file...

please suggest...

Same question, when I use the least JBPM, the version ANT, JBPM, JAVA7 or 8 don't cooperate well.
