I will be attending the MRA mtg tomorrow night at the Eastern. I am told that the J/24s traditionally sail Fri, Sat, and Sun. Is this correct, and would reducing that to just Sat-Sun bring out anymore boats?

Also, I need crew.

Boats from scituate deserve a 3 day event

I attended the MRA meeting tonight for NOODs. Not much was said about the 24s, but they did ask if we needed moorings or a place to launch. I mentioned that the Grant Boat would be coming from out of town and that it would be helpful if they could launch at EYC. Alan is going to email me about that.

We are racing all 3 days.

Not a problem. I personally believe that any well run regatta should have docking whether slips or moorings for any participants, especially non local boats. One could argue whether or not Beverly is local to Marblehead but I'd prefer for environmental and crew reasons to not burn the gas on 4 additional runs between Beverly and Marblehead but I need to I will.  Thanks.

I'm afraid that Doreen will not be on the line this weekend. While it is disappointing that I was unable to get the boat put back together in time for NOODs, it is great to see so many boats registered!
