IW40 FOR sale

Hi Everyone

I am the owner of the IW40 ( 1980)  "DARK STAR"

the boat had a major/total refit in 2018  and i put her for sale.

She is currently in south Italy ( Brindisi) but her home port is Genoa.

IW40 is a very nice and seaworthy boat more popular in northern europe than here in the mediterranean. For this reason I would like to know if you know

any website or similar site where to advertise my boat.

Dear Sergio,

Yes, they are very strongly built, especially compared to modern boats. We have sailed her across the Atlantic and in different continents, never worrying about the boat being able to take the weather conditions.

These days there are many places to list a boat. Some are free (by owner), some are with yacht brokers. Here is one free example in Sweden: www.batnet.se  (but I have no experience myself).

I think your market would be equally Norway, Denmark ,Sweden, Germany, and Finland. In Sweden they say the Germans have the money. However I have noticed that Italians have a weakness for S&S!
