Checking if InfiniBand NIC is bad on X400 nodes

Anyone know the command for checking the status of the NIC? Getting "Internal network link int-a (ib1) down" event, reporting on two nodes, suspect it's the switch, but wanna confirm NIC is ok...

Cluster is in a remote office, so it's not possible for me to physically assess the situation... and I'm out of support window.

Start with ifconfig -a

I believe it shows physical state in the output on bsd.

here is the command

isi status -n <node lnn> |grep -i ib

If both the infiniband cables are up then this is most likely error due to BMC/CMC issue. This condition can produce false hardware alerts ( specifically for infiniband and power-supply)

There is a Kb article that shows detail explanation on how to verify and fix the BMC/CMC issue on EMC support portal.
