So far this looks like a great stopgap work-around for us, thank you very much Chris!
For any company (with artists using Wacom tablets especially) that can't for some reason lock down files, or even to prevent accidental moves on the files that aren't locked down, this should be quite helpful.
Went with 200 ourselves (so that moves have to be very deliberate).
One thing to mention is that it affects a lot more than folder drags. Basically any drag operation in Windows Explorer. Desktop icons. Moving open windows. I think we've even seen moving emails in Outlook have the delay (but almost all other applications are not affected). This does tend to keep one from using this setting to extremes (I did test 4096 briefly, was interesting...).
