That’s not (quite) how the Force works...
The cluster will always be optimistic for missing nodes to come back.
FlexProtect for absent nodes will only run if an admin explicitly
declares a node as finally gone. Two methods for two scenarios:
Smartfail (graceful decommissioning of an online node)
and Stopfail (confirm loss after node disaster).
Note that this is different from how broken drives are treated:
the cluster by itself can declare a disk as failed and run FlexProtect
when certain errors or silence are observed
for the disk whithin some time interval.
