Does Inno support cloud based code signing and will it work with desktop apps.

Cloud signing providers will usually have client tools, which will have its own command line signing tool or that will allow you to continue to use Microsoft's signtool with signing.

I have successfully uses DigiCert have used both their smctl and Microsoft's signtool with their cloud Authenticode code signing certificates – that was a few years ago though, so I'm sorry but I can't remember the steps needed to set that up.

Thanks. According to ai if I comment out the options to perform signing I can leave all the sign keywords in the script.

Right?

I'm trying to understand: Is there some downside to simply trying this out and seeing for yourself whether it works?

(In other words, why ask and wait for an answer here, when you can simply just try it?)

Because I was at work on my phone. But you’re right. I will do that.
