Possible ID- Polygala arvensis of Polygalaceae?- from Anurag ji. 

Does not look like Polygala....a legume as per your original views..- from Nidhan ji. 

Probably polygala....?- from Girish ji.

No doubt. It is Polygala. But species need confirmation as species differentiation based on the appendages on the seed.
