yes but which one

for the last five hours i have been vacillating between the obvious:
the indian coral tree : erythrina indica
on which is this leaf that matches the case here

and second is a hybrid developed in australia or new zealand of our tree:
Erythrina sykesii. it was hybridized to make their seeds sterile, but the tree proagates vegetatively it seems, and now they want to eradicate it from australia/..

pheww!!

i would vote for e. indica

Petal shape is more roundish.Doesn't match with E.indica.Maybe E.caffra as suggested by Mahadeswara ji.

We have only one species in efi with lots of observations from South India and Sri Lanka as per https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/f/fabaceae/erythrina/erythrina-subumbrans
To me your post appears close.
