Based on fruit shape, in Flora of China, it may be Paederia cruddasiana Prain
Flora of China says "Fruit globose, 4-7 × 4-7 mm, glabrescent, drying gray to yellow; pyrenes concavo-convex to plano-convex" for Paederia foetida Linnaeus and 'Fruit broadly ellipsoid to ovoid, somewhat laterally compressed, 6-11 × 4.5-8 mm, glabrescent, drying yellowish gray; pyrenes ovate to elliptic, somewhat flattened, marginally winged' for Paederia cruddasiana Prain
We have to find the exact keys in Flora of our area.

I have photos of this species (Paederia foetida) - from Soraipung in Dihing-Patkai WLS.
It is called Paduri lata or Gendheli lota in Assamese.

As such, I am not sure about it !
Thank you.

Garg ji, your conclusion of Paederia cruddasiana seems justified. Let us try to find publication on basis of which POWO shows distribution in Assam.

I snapped these from Doldoli Reserve Forest, Karbi Anglong (Assam)
It is called Paduri lata or Gendheli lota in Assamese  (Paederia foetida) but  fruit does not support.

Here are the keys from Flora of Bhutan:
I. Fruit ovoid, laterally compressed, 9-1 lmm; pyrenes winged ..... 1. P. cruddasiana
+ Fruit globose, 4-6mm; pyrenes not winged . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. 2. P. foetida

So, it should be Paederia cruddasiana Prain

Yes Garg ji
Paederia cruddasiana, commonly known as sewervine, is easiest to distinguish from P. foetida when in fruit. The fruit of P. cruddasiana are ellipsoid to ovoid and laterally compressed, with conspicuous wings on the seed margins, while those of P. foetida are subglobose with unwinged seeds.
