Please help in the identification of attached species recorded from the Tawang area, Arunachal Pradesh (altitude around 4000 meter).

To me looks different from species available at efi site so far as per Carthamus

Also could not find a match at ‎Carduoideae - from me

i was going crazy

with so many thorny hairs on leaves and even what looks like a withering bunch of flowers or developing fruit

did not match any of the morinas we had

l learned that i have to go beyond what we have

ONE NEW MORINA for our page Gargji

wonder what does the flower look like???
