Hello all,

Requesting id of this small herb seen recently in Karjat. The leaves are also quite small, maybe around 3 to 4 cms. but they are quite interesting since the under-side of the leaves is pink. Flowers / fruits not seen. Thanks.

Kind regards, Rashmi

Maybe a Pogostemon sp.
Both P. pubescens and P. purpurascens have younger leaves with pink colour on the undersides. Both are found in Karjat area.

Radha
