Hello,
Just bought a new iPhone 5s (imported) without Indian bill. Having a peculiar problem with it. I am not being able to send text messages to numbers which have the prefix '+91". Once i edit the prefix then am being able to send the texts. But, after deletion of the prefix, not getting the caller ID.
Can anyone please help me with the same.
Thanks

The reason is your iphone is not just gsm but cdma or gsm one. High chances it might be from USA Sprint or Japan AU.

It should not make any difference.  Japan is on 4/4.5G on WCDMA phones. So it should work fine. I'm using Verizon iPhone 5 & have no issues.

You don't need to. The moment you insert SIM card it works accordingly.

Finally getting the phone replaced. Took it to the dealer. He'll be giving me a new one tomorrow. Hopefully the problem is solved in that.

So you'll get a replacement from an Indian dealer? You don't have bill, right?
