Dear group member,

We have some problem with printing tasks with tasked hazards and related items with IMSMAng currently any one has better idea to facilitate that process, I know GICHD team will work on that after we have provided feedback to print all tasked hazards with task like what we had before in IMSMA legacy.

When we issue a task for let’s say 10 Hazards area for TS process, we will print Task cover and 10 single report with maps (we depend on Hazard current view after customization which is not perfect as there is no Gazetteer information) also attachments needs to be printed manually!!! one by one and attached!!! I think that is time consuming!! especially when you have many hazards area with one task.

Anyone designed single report in iReport?

Dear Isam,

I have used two different approaches in the past and it pretty works for my needs.

1. Using the Task tool, I create a task and add all related objects (In this case Hazards) to it and then populate the rest of the sections with all necessary data then print as a single document once done.

2. Using the aid of auxiliary tools like Navicate i create sql links that make relationships of tables of my interest and tabulate them in any given format that i have defined. Once i have all my fields well defined through the Navicate, then i can print them to my interest.

However, i have not looked at the possibility of doing the same with attachments. Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Kak Essam Salam.

Here in South Sudan we usually have problem with the view as it does not provide the correct layout for a single report. I did not try the i report  However I have developed a tool for hazard, completion but not for task which  print the required data elements into a word template and also bring the attachment either as sketch if it is image or as linked document if it is word, pdf or other applications. I am sending the attached hazard so if you are interested can help you on its design. You can see at the end of the report there is a linked word document which is an attachment to this report and  is in actual fact the original report received from the field.

Regards, Kabir

Dear Haji Kabir and Afedra,

Thanks for your input. In past OPS people they used to have single report for all tasked items exactly in same format that they collect data from the field, so providing information with task in summary via views its a solution but not perfect one!! The MS Word document that you designed that is the best solution for time-been till GICHD team will fix issues with printing current view.
Kabir; with your tool still you need to print Items one by one right!! the main point behind my email is to find way to print all tasked hazards automatically with selecting task ID.
Based on your idea we will start to design some extra tool to print related records to task and I will update you about that.
