IMA GoogleiOS Sdk working correctly or not

How to know that my IMA GoogleiOS  Sdk sending pre,mid and post roll to server correctly, so I can get money :)

Hi Mashood,

There are a couple of ways that you can see if your IMA is setup properly and sending the proper information.

• You could check your logs to make sure that IMA events are getting fired. If your ads are pausing and/or your encounter an error, you could also see where you are in the process when this happens.
• Also, reach out to your ads server manager to see if you are getting impressions and the proper ads are getting tracked

If you are first getting started, please follow the steps that are outlined in our Getting Started guide.  Please let me know if you have any specific questions.

Thanks for quick response :)

Actually I have implemented the code and my ad is running normally without any Pause.but I want to know that where the sdk is sending back the ad play time details to the server.like pre , mid and post ad play details to make sure that every thing is fine and ad server is getting the feedback about ad play.

HI Mashood,

Glad to hear that the ad is running normally. If you would like to get more details about where the traffic is going, you could set up a Charles proxy session to monitor the HTTP and SSL / HTTPS traffic. The SDK sends a request to your ad server based on the ad tag that you provide. Also, the VAST tag sends tracking events and impressions back to the server for reporting. If you look at a sample tag, you will see that this information is included.  All of this information can be captured in Charles as well.

Hi,

iOS Vast Ads integration done correctly but in Android getting an problem that its not calling its event listeners .But we implemented it just like tutorial and It starts working when we make in Launcher activity but not for some Intermediate Activity.Can you help us in solving this issue

Hi Mashood,

Would you be able to provide some code snippets and more details about your implementation? Can you be more specific when you say that it doesn't work? For reference, the SDK must be instantiated and called only from the main thread of a process. If you are seeing exceptions it is possible that you are trying to use it from another thread. But if you could send over the following, along with code snippets that would definitely help to troubleshoot.

• Ad tag
• Any error messages that you might be receiving in the logcat
• Which version of the SDK are you using?
