IIP Image server

I have a probleme with installation of iipImage server in apache 2.4.
When i request the server from the navigator, i have an error "Error: No response from server /fcgi-bin/iipsrv.fcgi"
i need some help to resolve this

Increase the verbosity in the iipsrv to about 4 or 5 in the config file and see if the IIP log file gives any information about what might be wrong.

The IIP log file don't give anything, the  file is empty

Your first priority should be to fix logging since other problems are going to be difficult to diagnose without a log. 

I suspect either the log folder location doesn't exist or the permissions are incorrect. Try creating a file there with the touch command and make sure apache has write access to the file and the log folder. I typically use /var/log/iipsrv/iipsrv.log and I think there's an iipsrv configuration for the log location.

Although it's written for CentOS it's pretty much applicable to other OS as well.

Worked for me in my first IIP server installation, hope it does for you too.
