Hi Sarah
I have no idea what's involved in a Hairpin meetup.  Your description sounds pretty good though.  I don't even know if there are more than two of us in the Valley. Maybe the rest of us are in San Diego still?

Gotta warn you- I'm an old (48!) and I'm in treatment for cancer so I'm bald and generally odd looking these days.  I just started a new treatment so until I learn how to manage it, the next couple of weeks are tenuous at best. After that I'm up for happy hour and I have no plans of consequence until October.  

I haven't done a happy hour for a while, so I'm up for recommendations.  Any place with a nice selection of beer and bar food is great with me.  As long as it's possible to get some food to soak up the beer, I'm game to go anywhere in the valley.
