I saw there was a Columbus 'pinup about a month ago that I missed out on... anyone up for another?

Hi! I know this was posted a while ago, but I thought I'd try to revive the thread. I'm moving to Columbus on Saturday from Chicago and I know absolutely nobody (except my fiance, who will be traveling for business for the first week and a half). I'd love an excuse to get out of my apartment and explore my new city. Are there any other Columbus people who would like to do a meet-up? I'm downtown (close to the Arena District? I've been there exactly once to see the apartment) so somewhere around there would be best, but I'm definitely open!

Hey Katrina! I'd definitely still be up for a meet-up! There are lots of options in the Arena District, and the Short North is just a short walk away :) I'll actually be out of town until next Monday, but anytime next week other than that works for me.

I would love to join you! I am near downtown too. There are SO many
great spots in the short north, it might be hard to choose.

I'm doing the pinup roundups for the Hairpin and about to submit the May list to Emma. I want to make sure you guys get in so is the 24th at 7pm ok? At Curio? Let me know if there is another bar you prefer (I dont actually live in Columbus so I don't know what's best).

How about Wednesday? My fiance's allergic to shellfish and I can never get sushi unless I'm with other people, so I was thinking maybe Sushi Rock in the Short North? I'm open to other places if other people don't want to go there! Bonus - it looks like they do half price maki on Wednesdays :)

Hi everyone! If you're doing Wednesday I would recommend making it for next Wednesday, the 12th of June.  I'm hoping to submit the pinup roundups sometime tomorrow and that way it will give everyone a chance to see it and plan for it.  Just an idea!

I checked in at 7:05 and nobody had checked in under the table for Claire so I stood around by the host podium until 7:15 and I didn't see anyone come up and ask for that table, so I went home... We can try again some other time?
