Hi,

I am looking to setup a fully autonomous (headless) RaspberryPi + AirSpy and a RaspberryPi+RTL-SDR units to deliver APRS iGate and WSPR reception.

Is there a recommended way to do it with Gqrx ?

Thanks
Gur

For APRS you should have a look at Direwolf (https://github.com/wb2osz/direwolf)
Direwolf can take input via the UDP audiostream from GQRX..

GQRX can be remotelz controlled if you want to track the APRS sats..

I dont know about WSPR and GQRX but there is probably also a way to feed audio from GQRX into WSPR..

HTH,
Rob

Hello Gur,

Please see https://github.com/wb2osz/direwolf/blob/dev/doc/Raspberry-Pi-SDR-IGate.pdf for a complete document on how to do this.  Depending if a waterfall view is important, this document speaks to using the lighterweight rtl_fm program to do the SDR function.

Thanks.

Do you think this should work with AirSpy as well ?

rig-remote is able to control remote one or 2 gqrx instances, if you are going this way.

You'll need different tools for the Airspy but the rx-tools package looks encouraging:
