Slider for GWT?

maybe I'm missing it, but so far I could not found a Slider Widget (or anything similar I could misuse therefore).

Doesn't gwt provide a slider?

GWT doesn't have a slider widget but there are some 3rd party libraries that provide them.

There is an Slider implementation in GWT incubator (https://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit-incubator/wiki/SliderBar) which is now deprecated but can be used as a how-to. I've used this codebase and created an updated implementation that added mobile support and more. But is still pixel based and kind of slow to render (if you have a lot of them). But if you want I'll be happy to share ;-).
