Geochart with single Italian region/province

Hi there,

how can I display a geochart with a single region of Italy?
I'm setting parameters like:
- displayMode: 'regions'
- resolution: 'provinces'
- region: 'IT-25' (ISO_3166-2 code for the equivalent 'Lombardy', tried as well)
but this doesn't work ('Requested map does not exists') with any Italian region (same map works if I set 'region' to 'US-CA').

Furthermore, I'll also want to display single provinces.
I suppose I'll need to use province codes (like 'IT-MI', 'IT-BS', and so on).
I'd probably need to set:
- region: 'IT-MI' (code for Milan's province)
bu this too doesn't work.

These codes (for regions and provinces) already work for coloring regions and set value-sized markers on provinces.
So why these codes do not work for setting the appropriate map portion to display? I've seen people claiming this works... is it something I'm doing wrong?

Hi,

We support province focus only for the US right now. This is something that we want to support, but I'm not sure when we'll find the time.

Hi Rash,

Here are some Geo Charts with the Italian Regions, Provinces (and Municipalities in Marches Region).

Open Data Explorer, from the Camera di Commercio di Macerata:

Some polygons (in Sardinia and Puglia) have been merged, for the special characteristics of these datasets.

Mapfiles (Mercator projection) are stored in Google Drive.
