GMail action triggering a Google Apps Script

Hello,

Is it possible to run script after some certain action while writing an email?

My goal is to run script after pasting text while writing an email.

Script should process text in clipboard and paste updated text.

Example

Clipboard: [google]:www.google.com

Result: google (with reference to google)

That's not possible with GAS. But you can try looking into Chrome Extensions. Open source Javascript libraries such as InboxSDK might help with that.
