custom schema?

I believe I'm missing the general sense of custom schemas.  I created a schema similar to the example shown in the wiki so it is StudentData with fields id and graduationyear.  Fields were set up as string, restrictive and indexed.  After populating information for one student I was thinking the information would show up in the web UI somewhere (profile etc) but I have not been able to find it. I then moved on to the gam query function gam print users query StudentData.id=111111 and gam print users query StudentData.id='11111' with no luck.  It returns Got 0 users: - primaryEmail.  I tried this with both id and graduation year and it does not bring up the one student with the information.  When I use gam info user xxxy...@xxxx.com it shows the added schema fields with the appropriate information.  

I was also thinking that when you do gam print users allfields todrive that it would show new columns with the custom schema information but it does not.  Please let me know what I'm missing here.  I'm using gam 3.43.

Custom Schema Data doesn't show in Directory contacts at this time.

I was noticing a few issues this way also but it seems fixed now. Can you try again?

Try:

gam print users allfields custom all

in order to pull all the custom fields for users also.

I'm still not having luck with the query command.  Thank you for the information about adding "custom all" to the print todrive command.  That worked perfectly.

Rather that custom all, say custom <SchemaName>

But instead of listing all the fields under one schema.   I only want to list a single field under a schema.

I only want a report including Schema-A.Field2
