Hello All,

I got a email "Google App Engine application that is configured to use the deprecated service Master/Slave Datastore"  and i have migrate to HRD .
My application is not using any data store.  i.e no data store is used for my application.
Inspite of this , do i need to migrate to HRD. Please clarify my doubt.

IF yes, then  i have no source code with me.
Application is in java7. How can i download from app engine. I have access to app engine.
But i do not know how to download that source code.
Developer who developed this application , he has not given it to me. Now now he is not reachable.
Please   help me.

Best REgards,
Madhavi

Yes, you do need to "migrate to HRD" even if you are not using the datastore.

**However**, as that URL points out:

"Only the developer who uploaded the app can download it. If anyone other than that developer attempts to download the app, they'll receive an error message."

Hi Alex,

Thank you for the help.
How can see files list in the application .
As per your mail , only developer can download.
I am also owner of the application , how can i see the code . I mean under what section
I want to update with some  google analytics tracking code in the pages.
Will i be able to do so?

Can you please guide ,  any documentation /videos from google  , so that I can  understand  the existing application source code .
I checked  https://appengine.google.com   ,  i could see some settings of the application but could not find source code related information.

Best Regards,
Madhavi

The only functionality related to source code is in the relatively new developers console, https://pantheon.corp.google.com/project -- but it doesn't give access to code that hasn't been previously uploaded to some git repository, so it would not help you.  I do not believe you can get at that source without help from the developer who uploaded it.
