DDos attack in google app engine

I am M-tech student....and my thesis topic is DDoS Attack in Cloud Computing....I want to carry out my experimental work in google app engine....In experiment i have to launch ddos attack in a application which is deployed in google app engine and measure the impact of attack in performance of application....can i do this on google app engine?

In my opinion, you can create an appengine app, enable billing and send as much requests as you want to it
It's your money that will be burning :) so who else cares?

You may find that googles edge infrastructure kicks in may impact your tests depending on what you are doing.
