Are Weekly Discounted Instance Hours still a thing?

Looking at my billing it looks like my reserved weekly discounted instance hours aren't being figured in any way.  Is this because all instance hours are now the same price and there's no need for reserved hours?  Why is there still a setting for reserving hours?  Am I crazy or has all documentation of this stuff vanished too?

I dropped my reserved hours down to 0 since there's no price difference, but I'd like to know if there's still some reason to use them.

Thanks
-n8

@n8 I have reached the same conclusion. My guess is that the decision for the new pricing was made too fast for the systems in place to be completely revamped. I also suspect that they are building a new console so all the effort is going there and they do the absolutely minimum to maintain the existing console.

In any case, the price cut is effective  and hopefully the discount is just a confusing no-op at this point. To be on the safe side though I also reduced the discounted hours to 0.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I figured it was just a leftover or an
oversight, but it would be good to hear official confirmation.

I'm 99% sure that the "discounted instance hours" for "premium" (not sure if that's the official word) customers has gone away.

So, in the past F1's were $0.08/hr, but if you were a Premium customer, you got $0.05/hr F1's.

Now, everything is simply $0.05 - which means no change for Premium customer.

Just an overall simplification and transparency move in my opinion. Transparency is good!
