I have several house ad campaigns running but they all report 0 impressions and 0 clicks. It has been this way since I was upgraded to the new admob. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there any way to fix house ads? They are all enabled, but everything is 0 ever since transitioning to the new admob.

Hi Chris,

In the mediation settings, they look disabled. Try going into your mediation settings, selecting the house ad campaigns, and select Edit -> Enable. Then adjust the eCPM as necessary to place them in the desired mediation order.

Thanks,
Eric

Thank you. I think I found what you're referring to. I've set the eCPMs, but I was under the impression that house ads were free to place in my own app. Is that no longer true?

Chris

Hey Chris,

House ads are still free. The eCPM setting just tells AdMob where to place the ad in the mediation flow. The higher the eCPM relative to other networks, the earlier in the order your house ad appears.

You can also optionally create a house ad campaign with an impression goal (from the edit mediation page on your ad unit). These campaigns will try to fill a number of impressions over your desired time period and will serve instead of competing with other networks in mediation.

Thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric,

I am having trouble getting my house ads to show also.   I've just started using Admob this week. I have 2 ad campaigns.
Campaign A has an impression goal of 1,000,000 from Dec 1 - 20.
Campaign B is eCMP based.  I've been playing around campaign B, changing daily it's eCPM value higher/lower relative to the other ad sources: (1) AdMob, (2) AdMob eCMP floor beta.  My performance reports shows that my campaign B is getting requests but zero impression.  The reports has no mention of campaign A.  The campaigns status is "Eligible", and they are enabled.  The campaigns are set to target 'all'.
I am testing Admob with my android application on different devices.

Please advise.  Thanks.

Phi

Hi Phil,

For impression goal house ads, we discovered a bug where they weren't working properly that will be fixed in next week's push. Perhaps that's affecting you.

For the eCPM house ad campaign, I'm not sure what the problem is. Can you create a test ad unit where the house ad campaign serves first, so it's easier to determine the problem?

Thanks,
Eric

It's working for me now.  Yesterday, Admod showed a warning that my account was disabled because I didn't have any billing information.  Maybe a bug that admob didn't tell me this before.  I added my billing information and my house ads are now showing.
