Integrating MoPub with Mediation: Rewarded ads problem

Hello,

I'm integrating MoPub with Mediation to my apps following this guide: https://developers.google.com/admob/android/mediation/mopub

and implemented Rewarded Ads follow this guide: https://developers.google.com/admob/android/rewarded-fullscreen

There is a problem related to Rewarded ads's callbacks. That's if the rewarded ad is loaded from MoPub mediation network, then the ad callbacks and onUserEarnedReward are not triggered properly (note that everything is working properly with ads from AdMob).

Hi team,

Sorry, I can't provide more details. Just implement Rewarded Ads following these guides and the problem will occur when the ad is loaded from MoPub instead of AdMob

If you can't test this implementation and reproduce the issue in your side, let's ignore the issue and don't fix!

Hi Tuan,

I've tested your use case in our rewarded sample app with the following dependencies:

• implementation 'androidx.appcompat:appcompat:1.2.0'
• implementation 'com.google.android.gms:play-services-ads:19.6.0'
• implementation 'androidx.constraintlayout:constraintlayout:1.1.3'
• implementation 'com.google.ads.mediation:mopub:5.15.0.1'

As per testing, I wasn't able to reproduce the reported behavior on my end. Instead, the onUserEarnedReward triggers without any issues. With this, we'll be needing the requested information to you previously in order for us to identify the issue. Also, this will enable us to test the Ad (provided in Charles log) in our test App environment by trafficking the creative in the test network.

Are you sure that the rewarded video ad is loaded from MoPub network?

In my case, shown log:

Thank you for the response back. I was also able to test and was seeing that I was getting a response back. If you would like to share with us a sample app we can also look into that. At the moment there is nothing that we can see.
