Hello,
I have recently published couple of my games on google play integrated with adNetworks including AdMob. My both games contents are Low Maturity type. Upon submission, i was struck with a policy violation as google says in its response below.

REASON FOR REJECTION:Violation of the Google Play content rating policy.

After a regular review, we’ve determined that your app's advertisements are inconsistent with your app's content rating. Content rating guidelines apply to all content in your app, including user generated content, in-app products, and advertisements.

You may retain all policy-compliant advertisements provided your app's content rating appropriately reflects the content of these ads or, alternatively, you can remove ads with a higher maturity rating than your app. Please review your apps' advertisements and decide between these two options, then retake the content rating questionnaire and submit an update.

Now, they suggest couple of ways to resolve but i don't want to higher my game maturity level unnecessarily.

So what is the way to filter my AdMob ads content such that it only offer me the content which matches the Low Maturity stuff. I know about blocking the categories on AdMob but it doesn't seem to help as i don't know which category is offering higher level of maturity content.

Looking forward to your response Please !!!

Thanks!

As far as i know, this forum only handles implementation issues around the Mobile Ads SDK. But review center can able to take action on individual Ads. The following links will help you.

I'm having the same issue with StartApp ads. Their customer service tells me their StartApp ads are linked to Google Play's app ratings and filtered accordingly but communication with Google is almost impossible so I can't really do anything. Are they forcing developers to use Admob? They are not saying clearly and there's no way to reach them either.

Hi Yo,
That's exactly what has happened to me as well while using StartApp services. Google reported me ads content isn't what my content rating reflects. So i was left altering my google play content rating from LOW to Medium due to cause of no possible options.
