jira and ldap integration

Is LDAP and Jira integration easily done with GoCD?
Are there plugins etc.? What would be the best way to go about it.

LDAP is supported out of the box.

If by integration with JIRA you mean linking commits (which contains the JIRA story ID) to JIRA stories, you can refer to this.

For Jira, we just want to update the ticket as the build progresses through the pipeline.

That Jira integration doesn't exist. You'd need to write a plugin against the Go CD notifications endpoint as well as the Jira API.  I'm assuming that community would welcome such a contribution :)
