I've given you a much-deserved rest after my lengthy education with you regarding 2SV and even my new smartphone, which is still smarter than I am. And speaking of that, the February 24 Official Gmail Blog told us about the new feature for Android, rich text formatting. However, it is not yet happening with my Android. Am I too impatient, or am I alone? I even updated Gmail on that device.
Hi again. Earlier today I received notification of an update for Gmail, and it specifically mentioned rich text formatting. So I did the update, confirmed it was updated, but still no rich text formatting. What has been anyone else's experience?

While I'm here, someone else also responded to my inquiry, but it was sent to me directly and does not show here on the group's site. I'm not clear on how that happened. Do you know?
Finally, how is your dad doing with his smartphone? :-)

Mine is working now. One has to first select some text by holding down on it, then you will see an 'A' appear in the top of the composer, tap on that.
Thank you, Marko, it worked!Other than from you, I haven't seen any instructions. And I have tried to research it. Wondering where you got your illustrations.
