Hi All,

I've been pushing some changes to what should eventually be a publicly facing gitenberg site: https://github.com/gitenberg-dev/giten_site/tree/dev-al

I'm working on a get-involved page, and would really like some of your input. What the best ways for people to get involved? I'd this to be as approachable/scaffolded as possible, especially for people (like "editors") who may not have experience contributing to open source projects.

Can you suggest some new text and edits?

I actually cribbed this today to use in one of the open source projects that I lead.  Feel free to steal/adapt/etc

* You don't need to be a software developer to contribute to <Apache open source project>
– provide feedback
– write or update documentation
– help new users
– recommend the project to others
– test the code and report bugs
– fix bugs
– give us feedback on required features
– write and update the software
– create artwork
– anything you can see that needs doing

* All of these contributions help to keep a project active and strengthen the community.

This could be phrased "Learn some easy AsciiDoc syntax" or something. I
don't know if editors like specifications... ;-)

Hrm. For the editors, I'm fairly unclear on what URLs to send them to... or maybe I'll be making a few pages.

Link suggestions?
