Hey guys,

just run into something that looks like a cantonal/municipal and geoadmin data inconsistency for Erlinsbacherstrasse 20a in Niedergösgen. GeoAdmin map reports 3 buildings (20a,20b,20c), all under EGRID Nr. CH610649328991. That egrid also includes house numbers 14, 16 and 18: https://api3.geo.admin.ch/rest/services/api/MapServer/find?layer=ch.bfs.gebaeude_wohnungs_register&searchField=egrid&searchText=CH610649328991

According to the Land register extract for the property at Erlinsbacherstrasse 20a in Niedergösgen, the correct EGRID Nr. is CH631077577095, Grundstück Nr. 2584 (see attached screenshot).

EGRID Nr. CH610649328991 refers to the Grundstück Nr. 2081 (Dominierendes Grundstück), which is the “surrounding plot” of all buildings.
That doesn't make sense to me, one plot to include other plots...

In addition, these EGRID identifiers mentioned in the Grundbuchauszug (CH631077577095, CH645710777064) do not exist in GeoAdmin: https://api3.geo.admin.ch/rest/services/api/MapServer/find?layer=ch.bfs.gebaeude_wohnungs_register&searchField=egrid&searchText=CH631077577095

Any idea what's going on here?

best,
Milan

Hello Milan,

As far as I know, the data are updated once a week in map.geo.admin.ch. Could it be the origin of this discrepancy?

Regards,

Marc

Hi Marc,

well, the Grundbuckauszug is 5 months old, and the buildings are from 2015, which means the parcelation was done prior to that, so it doesn't seem like a data update delay.

Milan

Basically, this is a layer from the FSO. Data owner = FSO.
The GWR data are entered by the respective communes or the responsible authorities.
The buildings (addresses) are listed in the GWR as existing. However, the cadastral survey only has provisional buildings in the data. I do not know the current status of the buildings.
The addresses from the data set (building addresses) are listed as provisional (planned).

For this reason, the GWR does not use the coordinate of the official cadastral survey but a manually entered coordinate for the building position.
As a result, three buildings are listed here on the same plot and at the same location.

In addition, it is also referred to as a land register extract. The published data have nothing in common with a land register extract.

This problem solves itself with the updating of the data in the cadastral survey.
The official cadastral survey updates the buildings in the data within a maximum of one year after the reported completion of construction. (This varies from canton to canton).

Thanks for the detailed explanation! Btw, what's FSO and GWR? The construction year should've been done in late 2020, let's say 6 months ago, that's within the 1yr time frame you mentioned.

Anyways, 3 buildings with the same geocordinates isn't my primary concern, but the missing EGrid numbers (CH631077577095, CH645710777064).

So if I understand correctly, they will show up eventually in GeoAdmin (within 1 year)?
