I was glad to see that Gaia GPS will now support opening through a link, with the example being given as gaiagps://map?lat=35&lng=-116&z=12. I would like to use this to open Gaia through another app that I use (geosphere) as a database for certain locations. I can open Gaia to the latitude and longitude without a problem using your example as a template.
To make it work for me, however, I would like to create a waypoint at the specific location that is being opened. In other words, to be able to open Gaia on the fly and see the point on the map, which is what happens when I open the native maps app, google, or other apps through links.
The work around I have found is to drop a waypoint pin when Gaia opens, which seems to work, but is there a way to do this automatically? Do you have a full list of the supported command lines to open Gaia?
Having that optional parameter to create the pin thru the URL would be great!! And maybe even to specify it's color and/or shape!!
Thanks for a great app, and I'm really looking forward to the next update!
