Hey count me in.. I want to get back my money too..felt kinda cheated..basically they are of hard core seller..keep pushing the sales.. When I was brought into the treatment room.. The consultant, Carmen, keep asking me to take up the double booster as she said I needed it. Keeps promoting their packages to me even after I have already agreed and paid $800 upfront unwillingly. She went out to talk to her manager and came back saying can get further discounts..I kept sayin I need to think about it as it was really a huge investment. Initially she took off the cap for 1 of the booster which was included in the treatment. After she came in to the room, she just keep forcing me to sign the package and when I didn't agree to sign, her hand was holding another booster which she mentioned earlier on was a double booster. She just break it open without getting my consent. Isn't this a threaten to me? I really hope to get the money back. How to go about it?.

Me too... i had the same experience.. i was long waiting in the consultation room before/during/after the trial (which i paid rm10 at their road show). i was so sleepy and tired after gone through the long winded kind of consultation. Even i said my intention for the visit was only for the trial experience and not gonna sign anything for the 1st time. But she keeps pestering me and asked me why not solve the prob since i'm still young, pampering myself and also for my husband... blah... she nv stops showing me a lot of testimonials and do not let me leave from that room.. i was kinda headache during that time... i am so regretful and can't believe myself could have signed their package without discussed with my husband, as that salesgal told me that why should i discuss as this is for myself?! Somemore, the 12 or 24 mths instalment becomes another baiting strategy used by them. Anyway, after thinking over and over again, i do not find the package is worth for money... they do so little thing, only apply gel, wrapping and put you in the machine and that costs a thousand bucks!! somemore, i was told that the contract that i signed there is no where stated money back guaranteed if result is not satisfactory... Who can tell me how to get my money back?!! Guys, which branch are you in? please share with me.

I am currently writing to them via letter to the personnel in charge. I told them I needed the money urgently..I am in Singapore branch - Kovan. Yes they keep pushing me to sign.. Felt regretful.

I signed on 7 oct 2012.. I just happened to read this post then regretted to sign on.. I wrote a letter to them but haven submit. Wonder if it helps...

Initially i called the branch manager and said I just lost my job and need to go back to my home country soon. Leave me waiting for a week before saying, package still non-refundable. I don't think they will give you back the money. Once the money there, difficult to get back. Even you said the treatment gives bad side effects, they will not refund you!

 

But you still need to ask so you can answer court that you have tried your best in getting the refund.

 

I suggest all of you make claim together to make the case stronger. Definitely you cannot get 100% your money back, but better to get at least 70-80% than nothing.

Hi All...can I know what need to be done to get the money back.
I had just faced the same problem today and I feel so regret till now.
I came to Dorra was due to the contest I took in class 95 radio station. I was told that I had won the contest and should claim my prize from Dorra Slimming Centre.
I went to Dorra Slimming Centre at Plaza SIngapura today with the intention of claiming for the prize but I was brought into the consultation room. From there it started with the hard selling tactic and I was under tremendous pressure due to the way the consultant keep pushing me for the signing up of packages.
First she did an explanation on the formation of fats and told me to remove my clothes to show the areas of fats storage and formation of cellulite. Without asking my opinion and talk abt the agreement on the price and packages, she straight away asking me what bank am I using and would like to charge the payment to. I was stunned and told her that I need to think abt the whole packages and prize before I agree on the signing up. She then reduce the $4k packages to $2k packages. I did refused and told her that I need to discuss it with my partner. But the consultant still proceed and reduced down further cos I believe she try hard to get me sign on at least some packages. Finally she reduced the packages of 5 sessions which cost $800++ to the membership packages of $481 incl Gst. This membership consist of 3sessions of full body shape and a booster which she had used for the complimentary 1session that I had won from the prize.
I felt being pushed and forced into signing up the membership as if I won't be able to leave the centre should I didn't sign it.
Once I left the centre..I called them asking for refund for the $481 membership price since I had not started the 3 sessions yet. But I was told that I can't ask for refund since she had used the booster on me for the complimentary session.

Please advise me on what shall I do to get my money back?
Although its $481 only, I need it urgently due to the Hari raya which is coming around the corner.

I went thru the same thing same $481++ but at $963 total inclusive GST! I told them i can only afford $450 now.

Yes. I read the black and white behind the receipt .. i think it says within 3 weeks u will be able to get back. Gd luck!

I have the habit of keeping receipt and check them couple of days later.. in this case i happen to want to check this morning (which was 1 day after i sign the package) and i couldn't find it..

I did manage to get a reprinted receipt and indeed they hv a 5 day cooling period.. Which the consultant just lie blendly thru her teeth..

Initially they just want to give me the carbon copy without the term n condition.. then I gave a lame excuse and get the real copy..

Only manage to get back the 2nd package. becoz they say the 1 i try out on the trial session was an upgraded version, if i were to solely just pay for that is 2k plus... which i felt cheated. a session of a super simple treatment cost 2k plus, she must be joking. So i continue for 2nd package, too bad for me... 

Plus the so call "drink" that help to speed up burning process, they opened the box and force me to bring back. when i want to return for $, they say cannot coz already open. Then i told them i would drink anyway and is not opened by me, how to u expect me to pay for something i didn't want and i didn't have time to think about it.

anyway i can only treat it as a lesson lor...

Yea agree. They made me pay some stupid add on at a la carte price. Super angry. I am now praying to just rec the refund soon. Yep treat as a lesson learnt. They wanted to give me free treatment which I just rejected cause there is anything free there. They also gave the drink to me as free gift but luckily I did not open it and returned everything to them. I don't know why we have to pay and let them torture us.

Lesson learnt, I will avoid package in the future.
