Dear colleagues,
I am working with Pyrosim 2020 and found a problem with setting up layers. In the previous version 2018, suppose I had a room of 2,75 mts height so the layer was set up as zmin=0, zmax=2,75.
NOw if I do the same the graphics of smoke height and upper temp, are inconsistent and show for instance negative temperatures!!!!
I cannot find the problem. Could any of you advice me about?

Kind regards,

Ruben

I suggest you look at the actual .fds file that PyroSim creates and determine if it is appropriate and consistent with what is in the FDS User's Guide.

Kevin

Thank you very much for your swift answer.
I got the file.fds but cannot open it. Should I have to download any software to open it?
Regards

Ruben

It is a text file. Open it with a text editor like Wordpad or Notepad.
