I updated briefly and lost all Event Flairs. I was able to revert to "Classic". Presumably, later on "Classic" will no longer be an option. Is this the end of Event Flairs?

Yes,  Google, in their infinite wisdom, has seen fit to deprecate the sidebar.  Hopefully, this can be adapted to the new add-on architecture.

what you guys can do is switch back to "classic calendar" if you still have the option, and "tell google what's not working". Or send feedback and say "sidebar gadgets don't work anymore, such as event-flairs, https://eventflairs.appspot.com/". Who knows...

I was using the old and tried to implement it ... repeatedly.  Unfortunately, I  kept getting the GSuite error.

I'm going to be sad to lose all my flairs. I usually just update to new things like this right away but I'll hold out on this one as long as possible!!

I've absolutely gutted that Google decided to remove sidebar gadgets.

The new calendar looks great but we need to have all functionality that is unique back! 

One of the reasons I use google calendar is because of the labs and the even flairs that I could add/integrate.. NOW I had to revert to classic again and this will certainly be a show stopper for me and will need to find another calendar instead,....if Google don't allow "sidebar gadgets such as event-flairs, https://eventflairs.appspot.com/"
