Can't imagine my calendar without flairs. I'd be willing to pay (Sebastien) for flairs in a non-gadget form that meets Google's new "requirements."

Gadget will be gone on January 31st 2018: https://developers.google.com/google-apps/calendar/gadgets/
On the page I don't see anything about replacement...

The new version of Google Calendar is available and if you click on it the side gadgets are definitely gone :(

Any chance of new event flairs for the new Google Calendar?

It seems that event flairs as a sidebar gadget are dead.  I no weep for my calendar.

I wonder if this can be adapted as a new add-on?

I finally have the option to get that new calendar. I'll have a look to see I can adapt the gadget in some ways.

If you can get it working on the new version of Calendar, I'll happily join the chorus of people who'd re-donate! It really makes the calendar way more usable.

I second the plea to please make a gadget that works with the new calendar. I desperately rely on flair (along with my color-coded Google calendar) to run my life!! I too, will gladly donate $ to keep this running, just let us know where to do it!

thanks guys for the support, I would do it if I could, the thing is I don't see any equivalent/replacement for sidebar gadgets in the new calendar. I asked google on a forum, no answer (how surprising, right ?).

1. This is the link, but not much traffic: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/calendar/P2XzT8OhKcU/E66PdK90AAAJ
2. This one seems to be more interesting, as someone from Google (maybe) replied: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/calendar/BPHEBt0-yRA
3. Also, use "Send feedback" from Calendar app and explain the situation ("I rely heavily on sidebar gadgets, specifically Event-Flairs, https://eventflairs.appspot.com/, to manager my calendar, please bring back sidebars gadgets to the new calendar"). Do it twice a day, everyday :)

2. & 3. is preferred. I'll chime in on 2) as well as the developper.

Thanks
s.

Is there a repository for this? I'd like to see if the API code can be converted to a greasemonkey script or something similar. I've been using this for years, it's not going Anywhere.

I'm just sifting through the flairs.xml what part of this code actually tells GCal API to set a flair on an event?
