Howto install tools and compile to native and Emscripten with SDL2 and OpenGL on Linux

Hi all,

Getting all tools and test that it works is not easy.

I have taken parts of many instructions and made one small tutorial here:

http://www.eit.se/hb/misc/emscripten/

It works for the most part. It can show a pyramid in 3D on a web page.

But there is a problem with mouse capture. Is there someone who would like to pick this up and finish it? Or it is just not fixed yet in Emscripten?

Mouse capture should work, several online demos use it, e.g. http://beta.unity3d.com/jonas/DT2/ . What didn't work for you?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I have also tested BananaBread. So I know it can be done somehow.

But I wonder if they use emscripten SDL2 as is (when I compile for native code it works) or for this or they have additional handwritten JavaScript to do it?

I am trying to read the BananaBread source but It is not easy to follow.

BananaBread uses SDL1. But this should work in both 1 and 2.

Then I have mixed up things a little, But mouse capture/lock is not in the porting issues it should have just worked. I will struggle on with it.
