problem with Echo.Localization

hi everyone!

im trying to implement "Echo.Localization.extend" described here
http://wiki.aboutecho.com/w/page/30503112/Customizing-Text-Labels
it doesn't seem to work at all, can anybody check it out?

Hi Dmitry,

The customizing text labels mechanism does work well.
I've prepared the example and modified a JanRain sample page we sent you
recently, please check it.
