Anna,
Well, poking around in the E-Basic Help, I see that SoundBuffer has a
Pause method, which would probably work to do what you want if you used
sounds instead of movies. But you want to pause a movie. And guess
what? E-Basic does not show any Pause method for MovieDisplay, and does
not indicate any Buffer object for movies. I even threw together a
quick program and looked at the generated E-Basic code, that showed a
SoundBuffer object corresponding to my SoundOut object, but the
MovieDisplay had no corresponding Buffer. So I think you are out of luck.
You should submit this to PST Support and see what they say, then post
the result back here.
Oh, I also searched the Group for "movie pause", and found this thread
