Strange, is it linked to a file or does that happen with all files and is just linked to the 12mm and slice depth?

I set my slice depth as  -2mm and total depth as -12mm

Dx2gcode then creates gcode with only what seems to be  a total of wayway less than 12mm  depth and only do  4 passes.

It should do 6 passes of 2mm each to get to 12mm depth.

I have been using dxf2gcode the entire last year with zero issues and now has this problem out of the blue.

Anyone recognize it or can tell me what I do wrong ?

There is not an email address for you I can send a dxf to. ?   I dont want to post the dxf publicly.

Can you just produce a simple/small dxf which can demonstrate the problem. However I will try to look into this topic also.

I just tried it. For me it’s working. However I had an not very obvious behaviour of the program, I had the output-tpye “dxf” in the postprocessor file selected. This will lead to a reduced mill depth to one slice only. Please ensure you selected “g-code”.

 

Please also attach the config file of the postprocessor. Maybe you did something wrong. You can also try to delete it and therefore get a new standard one created.

Ich habe mit Inkscape 3 Löcher (Kreise) gezeichnet D 0.9mm

Ich möchte diese mit einem 0.9mm Bohrer bohren. dxf2gcode will das immer fräsen.

Der erzeugte G-Code ist dann auch leer, weil dxf2gcode "denkt" das der "Fräser" nicht in das Loch past.

Hast du es mal mit Punkten probiert, ich glaube die kann man zum Bohren verwenden:

 

Hier ist zumindest was im Code dafür vorgesehen. Hast Du auch schon beide Google Groups  durchsucht,  da könntest du was dazu finden.

Ps: Falls es noch ein Feature braucht, dann evlt. Die Möglichkeit einen Arc / Circle in ein Hole zu verwandeln mit Hilfe des Context Menus? Evtl. traust Du Dich da ja selbst ran. Ich denke das sollte einfach gehen ;-) …

Wäre doch cool, wenn man Objekten sagen könnte, dass die nur Bohrungen sein sollen.

Das mit dem Bohren wäre eine coole Option.

Ich will da mal rein schauen, brauche aber noch ein paar Test Files. Kannst du mir die DXF von Dir mal schicken? Vielleich finde ich ja um Ostern rum mal 2-3 Stunden Ruhe um das rein zu bauen ….

Kannst Du bitte das Thema in den Tickets verwenden, ich hättte gerne einen Ort wo das Thema konzentriert ist. Also dort die weiteren Fragen / Files etc. anhängen (Und wenn‘s geht in Englisch J …)
